Ola Sarri
“Boy in floral comforter is my vision of peace, both on a deeply personal level and on a universally recognizable one. The floral comforter is the central element, a protective barrier against the outside world. Anyone who has experienced cold or insecurity will recognize the promise of safety that a blanket holds. It represents a fundamental sense of security, a basic human right to rest and warmth. The flowers symbolize life, hope, and growth. The boy stands in a doorway, a symbol of transition and new possibilities. It is a moment of stillness and peace. Danger has passed. There is no need to flee.”
Ola Sarri is a Swedish figurative artist. He has always been fascinated by human anatomy and by how light and shadow move across the body. His work focuses on dynamic composition, painterly rhythm and texture. Ola´s oil paintings are built up in many layers, often with long intervals between each layer. He aims to balance control with spontaneity, allowing each painting to develop at its own pace.
