Lisa Fingleton
“I would love to wake up, hear the birds sing, and know that we, as humans, had chosen to commit to a peaceful coexistence with all other creatures. We would write messages of peace upon the land to remind ourselves — and the beings flying above — that we are dedicated to peace and to co-creating a more loving and kind world together. The land would breathe deeply, knowing it was safe. Seeds would grow, and ideas would flourish.”
Lisa Fingleton is an artist, writer, and grower living on the west coast of Ireland. Together with her partner, she is a guardian of a wildlife sanctuary and creative hub called The Barna Way. Lisa is deeply interested in how we can bring about the transformative changes needed for peaceful coexistence with all other beings and the Earth. She works with her local community on a project called Brilliant Ballybunion, exploring how we can grow food, nurture creativity, and protect nature at the same time. They have just published a new book titled What If We Were Brilliant?
