“If I woke up tomorrow in a world at peace, I imagine it would look very much like the world portrayed in Seed of Happiness. The artwork begins with a single flower-shaped Dongli placed at its center—a symbol of a small seed of happiness. From this center, countless forms, colors, and characters emerge and connect, gradually creating a larger mandala. For me, peace does not mean a world where everyone is the same. Rather, it is a world where differences can coexist through connection, understanding, and compassion.
The mandala represents this idea. Just as every element in the artwork remains connected to the same center, every person, culture, and living being is part of a larger whole. What appears separate is, in fact, deeply interconnected. I believe happiness moves in a similar way. A small act of kindness, a moment of joy, or a feeling of love can spread from one person to another, creating an invisible chain of positive energy.
What begins within one individual can eventually reach a community, and perhaps even the world.
In Seed of Happiness, the expanding mandala becomes a visual metaphor for this process. It imagines peace not as a distant ideal, but as a living network of connection that grows from countless small seeds of happiness. In that sense, the miracle of peace begins with something very simple: a single seed of happiness within each of us.”
Morè is a digital artist from South Korea and founder of Dongli Studio, a creative media art studio established in 2025. Dongli Studio’s vision is simple: “Spread the Happy Virus All Around the World.” Through the character “Dongli,” Morè visualizes the flow and expansion of positive energy. Beginning with the simplest geometric form—the circle—Dongli evolves into flowers, people, animals, and symbolic forms, expressing the interconnected nature of life and emotion. Inspired by Buddhist mandalas and mantras, Islamic geometric patterns, and contemplative visual traditions, Morè creates artworks that invite reflection, connection, and inner peace. Recurring series such as Wake Up, Wave, Bloom, and Appear explore how emotions spread between individuals, while works like Dongli Mandala and AUM Dongli Mantra function as visual meditations that encourage mindfulness and positive awareness. Alongside exhibitions and public presentations, Morè develops character-based animations and media art experiences, while expanding into interactive installations using TouchDesigner and projection mapping. Morè has participated in multiple exhibitions, including invited exhibitions at Walkerhill Hotel AI Lounge, Janus Artist Group exhibitions at Uncommon Gallery, ANDEX, and STAF. As a member of Janus Artist Group, Morè received the Grand Prize for Natural Blooms in the Gangneung Metaverse Experience Center Media Art Competition, where the work is currently exhibited as part of a year-long installation.
