Ana Žaja Petrak
“For me, peace begins with attention. If I woke up tomorrow in a world at peace, I don’t think it would look dramatically different. Everyday life would still be there: a table, flowers, a meal, the morning light. Perhaps the real change would be that we notice these everyday moments with more care. My work is an invitation to slow down and recognize that peace isn’t only something we hope for — it is also something that already exists in the quiet moments of everyday life.”
Ana Žaja Petrak is a Croatian artist and illustrator based in Zagreb. Her work explores the beauty of everyday life through drawing, painting and collage.
