On the occasion of UNESCO Culture and Arts Education Week 2026, which focuses on “Culture and arts education for lasting peace,” UNESCO invited students from its Associated Schools Network to produce artworks around the theme “Art for Peace”. Inspired by the vision and principles of the UNESCO Framework for Culture and Arts Education, and to celebrate and reflect on the connection between peace, creativity, and cultural expression, this online exhibition showcases the visions and interpretations of what Art for Peace means to 6 to 14 year old learners in diverse cultural contexts around the world. Please find the the online exhibition and photo essay here.
