Our hearts are always guided by a light, by a path that leads us to the essence. This guidance of light brings a deep inner peace, regardless of external circumstances. The path of light and peace is always within us, and it is also a reminder that we are never alone. This painting was created after visiting the holy land of Madinah. It has many layers and depths, unveiling the seen and the unseen. Angels circle the space, chanting whispers of love. Greens, golds, and nude shades are inspired by nature, and by the shades within us. Using an expressionist style allowed me to express, in different ways, elements that can’t be said in words — it’s a story in layers to be unfolded by each person individually.
Deena Fadel is an expressionist artist, holistic coach, and creative writer. She surrenders to the spiritual world, which fuels all forms of her art with a mystic flow. She is passionate about the relationship between art and movement, which allows the body, soul, and mind to flow through space and time. Deena was born and brought up in the UK, lived several years in Qatar, and has been residing in Egypt since the age of 18.
