Marina Arsangerieva

Marina Arsangerieva is a Germany-based artist with Ukrainian and Chechen roots. Her sculptures and paintings are born from personal experiences and are deeply connected to her cultural identity. Inspired by the traditional Ukrainian folk art of Petrykivka, she weaves intricate patterns with profound emotional expression in her work.
For me, peace is the freedom to be truly yourself, despite the hardships and wounds you have endured – without the need to hide, conform, or pretend. My painting, “No More Hiding”, is a reflection of this peace, a testament to the liberation found in personal freedom, where no masks or façades, not even those we create for ourselves, are needed.
“No More Hiding”, acrylic on canvas (80x100cm)
