“If a miracle were to happen tonight and I woke up to find that peace had arrived, it would not come suddenly or loudly. It would begin as it does in this work — in the moment between night and morning. Below, the movement of a world shaped by conflict can still be felt, but above it, light is already rising. The figure holds what knows the way before words — inner knowing, breath, purity. Here, peace is born not as an event, but as a state: not with a cry, but with the first calm breath of a new day.”
Ramz Gadzh lives and works in Stockholm. He grew up in Dagestan (North Caucasus) and is a member of the Swedish Artists’ Association. His art is socially engaged and socially critical. He creates paintings not for interior decoration or commercial purposes, but to express important ideas, highlight social issues, and encourage the viewer to reflect. Each work carries a message — sometimes heavy, sometimes provocative — but always with artistic value. Symbolism is his preferred direction, as it allows him to express himself in the most powerful way.
