The painting emerges from a meditation called “The Blanket of Peace”. It begins by grounding deeply into the body, finding stillness within. From this calm center, you build up a protective shield of light around you, creating a safe space. Out of this secure space, with each breath, peaceful energy expands outward, gently unfolding like a soft, luminous blanket. It stretches beyond the self, covering everything and the whole world with a blanket of peace.
Uwe Henneken is a German artist and lives in Denmark.
